Halloween Looks To DIE For

Halloween Looks To DIE For

Dear Diva’s,

It’s that time of year again and Team Diva have put together a collection of our top 10 steal-worthy beauty looks to inspire you all this Halloween.

“The Blockbusters”

 1) Pennywise from IT

Mykie aka The Glam and Gore is the QUEEN of special effects makeup and this year she’s created this creepy but fierce Pennywise look from movie of the year, IT. We admit, we haven’t been quite brave enough to watch the re-make ourselves, but if you’d like to recreate this iconic horror movie character this Halloween, check out her tutorial below:

2) Wonder Woman

Superheroes have been done to death over Halloween but this cartoon-style Wonder Woman make-up is right on trend, as seen on blogging superstar Nikki Tutorials. Remake this look yourself by checking out her tutorial below:

Diva Tip: Use one of Diva’s wide barrel wands to create Wonder Woman’s glamorous, loose waves.

“90’s Baby”

If SS18 fashion has taught us anything it’s that the 90s are back. From pink hair and metallic dresses to cargo pants and double denim, the likes of Tom Ford and Jeremy Scott were throwing it back to the 1990s on the runway this season, so of course were stealing this trend for our Halloween inspiration.

 3) Barbie

Ultimate 90s icon – Barbie (duh) – is such a cute idea for Halloween this year. Kandee Johnson shows us how to create this classic, everyday Barbie look below.

(p.s. she also shows us how to create a ken look on her channel if you’re forcing your boyfriend to dress up with you!)

4) Christina Aguilera

Who rocked 90s crimped hair better than Christina Aguilera?! Forget Satine, dress as the real star of the Moulin Rouge this year, aka Xtina. (Ok, so Moulin Rouge was technically 2001 but close enough…)

Diva Tip: Get the look by using our Intelligent Digital Crimper! This tool crimps and adds super volume!

“Couple Goals”

5) Morticia and Gomez Adams (aka the greatest couple of all time)

Sure, they’re incredibly creepy most of the time, but their romance is built to last. If you and your other half are looking to join forces this Halloween how about recreate Morticia and Gomez from The Adams Family. It’s an excuse to get your man in a suit and all you’ll need yourself is a black wig, some white face makeup, a dramatic smokey-eye and a dark red lip. We’ve picked our faves from Pinterest above to inspire.

6) Romy and Michelle

Who needs a boyfriend when you have a bestie anyway?! Pull out your satin slip dresses and bedazzled chokers this Halloween and channel Romy & Michelle. Pure 90s heaven.

“I don’t care if you don’t like us, ‘cause we don’t’ like you.” Preach girls.

“The Classics (with a twist)”

7) Jungle Cats

We’re over the black kitten look this year. Make a roar this Halloween as one of the jungles finest felines. Check out this simple but glam cheetah look below created by Spankie Valentine:

Diva Tip: Go one step further and create super tight, super defined curls to accompany this look!

8) The Creepy Doll

The creepy doll look is a classic and can be achieved in a bunch of different ways. This year we love this pretty in pink creation by the talented Dehsonae.

SO. MUCH. GLITTER.

“Not so scary”

9) Unicorn

Yes, we know, Unicorns are everywhere right now. Every corner you turn there’s some new Unicorn merchandise, from Unicorn inflatables, to unicorn phone cases, even unicorn hair trends (which we love btw!)! But this trend is too damn cute we just had to feature it.

Beauty & Fashion blogger Sophie Hannah Richardson has created the perfect Unicorn look and we’re obsessed!

10) Hippy Love

We’re probably not going to achieve the Vanessa Hudgens/Kendall Jenner at Coachella vibes but we can give it our best shot! The 90s weren’t the only decade revivals on the runway this season; the 60s and 70s were all the rage. So get your flower head bands and fringe waistcoats out and prepare for a totally hip Halloween. Peace & Love guys x

Whatever look you go for, we’ve got the tools to help you achieve the perfect locks to accompany your chosen Halloween style.

It’s Do or DIY Diva’s!

Lots of love,

Team Diva x
